This month the light is shining on Parvathy...
Where it all began
I am originally from Kerala and started my IT career nine years ago with one of the leading banks in Australia. I’ve held roles such as UAT analyst, Mobile Payments Analyst, and Business Analyst for various banks. I joined GPS in 2019 as a Business Analyst, and I’m currently working in the product space as Product Manager.
Can you tell us some background about what you do at GPS and your GPS journey?
I am a Product Manager for GPS’ core products. I focus on effectively managing and guiding the development of our products. It includes taking care of development, pricing, market launch, and marketing of the product. I’ve been with GPS for more than two years, and the journey continues to be exciting.
What do you like most about your job?
There is so much to learn and that's the best part. It feels like I’m growing every day along with GPS.
What’s an average day for you?
A visit to my to-do list, then I provide product updates in the daily stands up we have. Then it’s onto meetings across the business and in between these, reviewing the product artefacts and providing feedback, working on the product deliverables.
Why GPS?
GPS provides an environment to learn things quickly and gain expertise. There is always opportunity for those who are passionate about their work.
